It's one thing to intensely dislike those who drive enthusiastically up twisty California mountain roads, but it's altogether something criminal to actively make an effort to hurt motorcycle riders or drivers. That's what happened to motorcycle rider Nick Seth-Smith according to The Glendora Patch who reported on the incident yesterday (March 9, 2015.) It's a popular road in Los Angeles county frequented by motorcyclists, drivers and cyclists alike. But now it looks like some locals have had enough of all of the fun being had and took the situation to their own hands by maliciously dumping oil on certain parts of the trail to intentionally cause an accident. In the Go-Pro video supplied by Nick, without anyone's knowledge are clear shots from the supposed red Chevrolet Suburban used in the oil dumpings. One moment there is absolutely no oil around the road and after a couple of miles of backtracking, fresh oil slicks might be clearly seen.
